Hold the ring at the bottom of the screen and slide. Sideways steers, up goes faster, back brakes. In compass mode, point where you want to go.
Arrow keys or WASD steer. In compass mode they point the way instead: → rides east on a north-up map.
Turn onto a new canal or street and the ride stops to ask its name. Pick it, type it, or choose No idea — either way the answer is shown, and the right one lights up on the map. Nothing on screen names it before you answer.
Names you get right come back later, just before you would forget them (spaced review). Knowledge on the setup screen shows what is due. “% new” on the destination card is how much of the route you have not ridden before.
